I have HP pavilion dv6 I want to upgrade Ram. There are two slots 4+2 GB. I want to replace 8 GB in palace of India GB. Which Ram I have to consider. Is there any chance to upgragre SSD on this Laptop?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have  6 GB 1600 MHz DDR3  drive installed on the PC.

And it supports up to 16384-MB system RAM. See following system RAM configurations:

To get the answer to this question, this computer supports 160-GB drive. ( refer to the 4 Chapter 1 Product description )
