RAM upgrade for HP Pavilion 14

I need to upgrade RAM on a HP pavilion 14-dh1004tx. The machine-attached HPsupport  gives no information on whether it can be done and if so on the maximum amount that will be supported.  In my laptop specifications is that i currently have  8GB Samsung in one slot. From Crucial, my laptop can upgrade max 64 Gb.

1)  Can i put 32 Gb in another slot, and can run RAM 8GB and 32 GB ?

2)  It is true, my laptop can install Crucial 64GB Kit (2 x 32GB) DDR4-2666 SODIMM from Crucial?

3) Does HP itself offers the upgrade service, especially in Indonesia?

I understand that you would like to upgrade the RAM.

 

I have checked the manual.

 

Two SODIMM slots, non-accessible/non-upgradeable DDR4-2400 dual channel support Supports up to 16 GB maximum system memory in the following conƭgurations

 

● 16 GB (8 GB × 2)

● 12 GB (8 GB × 1 + 4 GB × 1)

● 8 GB (8 GB × 1 or 4 GB × 2)

● 4 GB (4 GB × 1)

 

The ram is not user-accessible. I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

 

 

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

 

2)Select the product type.

 

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

 

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

 

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
