Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am currently using HP 15-bw088ax with 4GB of RAM . When I am working , the task manager always shows the RAM usage above 80% even on opening a single tab in chrome + Jupyter Notebook. What size of RAM can be used in the RAM slot ? What is maximum size of RAM that can be upgraded ? I want 16GB RAM , is it possible ?

Thanks a lot for suggesting the RAM. I have ordered the RAM. One more question, some of my friends are suggesting for Ubuntu instead of windows, will installing ubuntu help me with the lags? I generally use Jupyter Notebook, web browsing and ebook reading, and few basic things like dev cpp.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about Ubuntu.

 

I do know that on these newer model notebooks it is hard to find Ubuntu drivers for some devices such as the wifi and bluetooth adapters.

 

Since HP does not support your notebook for Linux or Ubuntu, I recommend you find a Ubuntu forum and ask for help there.
