RAM upgrate for HP pavilion 15-cc515ur 2CP21EA

HP pavilion 15-cc515ur 2CP21EA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Thinking about buying a laptop HP pavilion 15-cc515ur [2CP21EA] https://support.hp.com/by-ru/document/c05553006.

By default, it has DDR4-2133 SDRAM 6 gigabytes (1 x 2 Gb, 1 x 4 Gb). Can I put 4+4 or 8+8 or 16 gigabytes of RAM in one module? And what is the maximum size RAM for this laptop?

Solved!

RAM upgrate for HP pavilion 15-cc515ur 2CP21EA

Here is the Manual which will be helpful:

Manual

On page 2:

Supports up to 16-GB of system memory DDR4-2133 channel support (DDR4-2400 downgrade to DDR4-2133) Supports the following conƭgurations ● 16384-MB (8192-MB × 2)

Pages 37-42 show the actual procedure for memory upgrade. Takes DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM and this is the parts list on page 41:

8-MB, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V 862398-855 4-MB, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V 862397-855

Somebody at HP is not looking closely; these are 4 and 8 gigabyte, not megabyte modules.

8 gig:

4 gig:

The 7th gen and 8th gen Intel models that use DDR4 memory are well known to accept and run 2 x 16 gig or 32 gigs total memory we just can't 100% guarantee it since HP does not list it in the Manual. I have not seen anyone say that 32 gigs does not work, however, and you can find these models for sale by resellers with 32 gigs of RAM. I question the cost-efficiency of 32 gigs at these memory prices, however. Not much you can't do with 16 gigs of RAM and even 8 is plenty for most people.
