Pavilion TS 15 Notebook Model 15-n054sv
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

Currently I have an old HP Pavilion ts 15 Notebook(touchsmart) model 15-n054sv with 8GB(two 4GB kingston 1333MHZ) of DDR3L RAMs and I'm looking on an upgrade 16GB, but I cannot figure out if it is possible for my current specs laptop specs. I tried the Crucial and Kingston website to look out on options, but I could not find my model in their options.
Anyone that can provide with a proposal for compatibility with this model. As well as I would apreciate a ssd proposal to replace the current HDD 1TB.

Thank you!!!

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1 on page 3.

I disagree with the 12 GB max spec.  If one slot can take 8 GB, then so can the other one.

I can only vouch for the SSD's I currently have in 2 of my HP notebook and 2 of my HP desktop PC's.

I use the 240 GB capacity of this model drive.  For my needs it works great, and you can't beat the price.

Even the 480 GB model is less than $60 USD.

Great answer Paul. Thank you!! I will check for a solution with the recommended up to 12GB it would be a small boost for my machine but it will make the work. As for the ssd recomendation I will try it for sure!!
