Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

 does mine have 1 mem slot or 2..in the HP workshop manual it states that there are two configurations 2 slots means you can upgrade to 16 GB maximum..the only problem is in this is a question as well.. will the system recognise the full 16 GB.. I upgraded my Lenovo t60 and it wouldn't use it ..t60 went from 2gb to 4 GB...but Bios would only recognise 3gb.

Hi, Jonny:

 

Your notebook has the AMD AMD A4-9125 Dual-Core processor, which means there is only one memory slot, and the maximum memory that you can install in the slot is 8GB.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.   Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

One memory module slot (E2/A4/A6 processors)
Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable
DDR4-1866 dual channel support
Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM in the following configurations
● 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1)
● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1)

Hi Paul thanks for the quick reply mate now I found on the net Hewlett-Packard 16GB ram bar for the model 14 that will go into one of those slots yeah
