hp 15r004ne notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop HP 15r004ne Notebook core i5 4th generation motherboard  4210u series came with a factory-installed 4Gb DDR3 (1rx8 pc3l-12800s) ram. I recently upgraded to 16Gb DDR3 (2rx8 pc3l-12800s) and my battery is draining quickly and my fan speed has drastically increased. should I reduce my ram to 8gb or is there any other fix? will this harm my computer in anyway?
