Hello,

Can I upgrade ram in pavilion dv6-6010ej by adding 8GB to the 4GB I have now? 1333MHZ? (for a total of 12G

Hi:

 

I cannot find any specs on that model.

 

If it has an Intel core processor, yes, you can install up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

If it has an AMD processor, no, you can only install a max of 2 x 4 GB of memory.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
