Re: Battery plugged in not charging

HP Recommended

My pavilion 15-cw1598sa also keeps doing this where it won't charge when plugged in except for 30s charging after a restart which then stops. I tried bios update which didn't seem to help, neither did several attempts to delete and reinstall the battery driver. Then,  running out of battery with which to try anything else I shut down again, removed battery (massive faff), put it back and restarted. Now it charges again but how do I stop this happening again??? because it is a very poor performance from a one month old laptop. Can I get anything done (repair or  replacement) under the warranty if it happens again? ?
