I have the same laptop and I also have this question. Can we install a hdd or sata ssd

To answer your question, yes you should be able to install an HDD or SSD, and here's a list of parts tested and approved by HP for your device:

(As an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed above are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion)

 

Keep me posted, as I (Or a trusted colleague) shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

Hey, After reading my your comment and ordered a new hdd and when i tried to I install it guess what happened. There is no space in my laptop and you said the same parts are compatible.

And there were 7 Phillips screwdriver under rubber pads, not 6. I almost bent the back cover following that manual.
