Hello,

 

i have a laptop hp 15-bs078nf with the same mainboard 832b and I would add a ssd m2 to boot windows with it, if I understand well what you say I need an adapter? and what ssd could I install? for example the samsung 970evo will work well?

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive installed on the PC.
To get the answer to this question, this computer supports SSD + HDD. See the below configuration:
