Product number: Z6L07EA#ABU

I would like to change upgrade my SSD from 466 to 1T, I have a hp spectre 360 convertible 13-acoxx. I the PC in 2017.

Is it possible to upgrade the RAM from 8GB to the next size up and where would I get the hardware from.  I have changed older PC's hardware before, but not these new PC's

Thanks, Noel

Re: replacing ssd

@NoelBlue

EXACTLY your machine is an HP Spectre x360 - 13-ac002na, its specs

      https://support.hp.com/ie-en/product/hp-spectre-13-ac000-x360-convertible-pc/14039877/model/15304462...

It has 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD, not 466GB (Windows see different way). The following manual shows RAM and SSD information for you to upgrade

          http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05357578.pdf

  1. For RAM: You can't because your machine use  8 GB LPDDR3-1866 SDRAM (onboard). that means RAM is soldered to the system board.
  2. For SSD: You can use part # on page 29 of the manual or buy from Samsung 970 EVO, Crucial P1 series ...

Regards.

Re: replacing ssd

Thanks, that's really helpful. Do you have any information on cloning my HD and copying it to the new hard drive.

Thanks, Noel
