HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 (169X0AV)

I just bought an HP Active Tilt Pen for my HP Envy Laptop. It is a rechargeable pen, I've fully charged it, and Bluetooth-connected to my computer. The buttons will work, at least the main one that pulls up Windows Whiteboard and I was even able to change that to Windows Notes with the pen app.  I have checked updates, and drivers, rebooted my computer, disconnected and reconnected the pen, and checked settings, however, it will not write. I have the settings configured to not recognize my touch when I am using the pen but my touch is working and the pen isn't. I am so confused about what is going on, I think I have some setting turned on/off but I don't know which one.

What is your pen ? Is it compatible with your machine ?  Your machine is compatible with (they are the same, different colors)

  • Zenvo pen in natural silver finish with cable part # L95614-001
  • Zenvo pen in sky black finish with cable part # L95615-001

You can order from https://partsurfer.hp.com/?searchtext=L95614-001  or use part # to buy elsewhere.
