And shouldn't the speed be atleast equal with that it has already equipped?
On SSD, im not sure if my laptop has 1 slot (for 1x 2TB) or 2 slots (2x 1TB)...

You are right HP has posted the Manual for an earlier model series. You need DDR5 memory. And you do have a pair of M.2 slots which can actually be configured as a RAID array. The Manual shows the correct layout at p. 35 yours just has a newer gen processor and uses DDR5 memory instead of DDR4
