pavillion 15-cc129tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a laptop HP Pavillion 15-cc129tx in 8th generation i5, which I  purchased in August 2018.

1) I want to know whether it has an NVMe m.2 SSD slot?

2) If yes, which SSD is best suitable &  I can buy it from the market?

3) Can I clone my Windows 10 & transfer it to this new SSD? Where can I find help for this activity?

I believe I did post the specs of your machine on another reply.

The series support dual storage with M.2 SATA SSD + 2.5" HDD

A1. Your machine does not have M.2 NMVe slot, only M.2 SATA slot.

A2. You can use M.2 SATA SSD from

              https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-mx500-ssd

              https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/ssd-870-qvo-sata-3-2-5-inch-1tb-mz-77q1t0bw/

     Or similar from reputable vendors.

         For example

              https://cplonline.com.au/samsung-860-evo-series-1tb-m-2-ssd-mz-n6e1t0bw.html

A3. Yes, you can clone from HDD to M.2 SSD using the following Guide

             https://www.easeus.com/disk-copy/clone-resource/how-to-clone-hdd-to-m.2-ssd.html

Regards.

Hi, @sahil72

Your notebook has an M.2 slot that supports NVMe drives.
