- I have been experiencing crashes on my hp laptop touchscreen, so i tried a disk check to see if it would help. After a long while it gave me the option to test on the hard drive and memory, when i tried the hard drive test, it said it failed. I looked up the link it gave me and people were suggesting to remove the hard drive or get a whole new one. So i looked up on youtube, didn't have my model, google, didn't have the model! No one in my family knows how to properly fix it. All i need is a video for the model that i have. Hp Laptop touchscreen model 15-bs289wm

@Confused02 , welcome to the forum.
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257
There are instructions for opening the case beginning on Page 39. On Pages 53 thru 55 is a list of compatible hard drives (HDD's) and instructions on how to remove and replace it. The HDD is in the Authorized Service Provider section of the Guide. This means if you are not fully familiar with working on a laptop, you should probably let an expert do it for you.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
