Product: HP Probook 640 G4

Hello,

for now my HP ProoBook have a normal Keyboard without backlight. Now I saw on the Maintenace and Service Guide, that there is also a Keyboard with backlight available.

Is it possible to replace my Version with that one with Backlight?

Partnumber from my Keyboard now : L09547-041

Partnumber Keyboard with backlight: L09546-041

Hi,

yes, it should be possible if you can find the keyboard. Not available in HP parts store or online search.

You could also take a quick look and see if the backlight cable slot is present.

Number 5 on page 47 of service manual:

the cable slot is there.

It´s not a problem to get this sparepart for me. I have a business contract to an HP seller. There I can order every sparepart 🙂
