Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can anyone tell me what battery is in HP Pavilion - 14-ce3501na

Tried HP Parts Master but it doesn't recognise the product or serial number.

Battery charges to100% but shuts down around 50%.

Battery check says it is Weak and needs replacing.

Machine is only 11 months old would battery be covered by warranty?

You can certainly check with HP Support.

 

"Self repair" is usually must faster though it does require that you purchase the battery for cost and complete the replacement.

 

If you decide to do so for any reason, replacement information is included later in this message.

If the battery is failing (or has failed) and the computer is within the Warranty Period, contact HP Technical Support.

Find Parts and Replacement Procedure

  • Open Support Home >> Enter the full model name
  • When the website opens, select category Manuals
  • Look for and open the Maintenance and Service guide for your computer (document name varies)
  • Search for “Battery” >> Read the chapter on Replacement Procedures

NOTES  

  1. The exact name of the service document varies, though usually the word "service" or "maintenance" is included in the name. 
  2. The "Service Guide" and "User Guide" are not the same documents.
  • Part numbers and replacement procedure are listed in the component replacement section (wording varies)
