HP Recommended
Product: HP 250 G6 2SY46ES#ABU.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My battery needs replacing on my laptop HP 250 G6 2SY46ES#ABU.

The battery I currently have is J03 HP 919701-850, voltage 10.95V.

In searching for replacements, there are two suggested replacements, one at 10.95V and another version at 14.6V.

Can I replace the 10.95V (3 cells) battery with the the 14.6V (4 cells) version as this one is more common and would appear to be more powerful.

I note in some models, a choice between the two versions exists, whereas with other models, you must choose one or the other.

919700-850 has been labelled as J03 and J04, making matters more confusing.
