OMEN by HP 15-ax204nk
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi ,

First I'll start by giving some details about my laptop :

Product Name : OMEN by HP 15-ax204nk

Product Number : 1AM67EA#BH4

Serial number : [Personal Information Removed]

So some months ago , I started noticing these weird noises in my laptop fan when I boot the laptop so I had to check the problem and it seems that my ( left fan ) I guess it's the CPU fan is working properly or dying . So I decided to swap both fans temporarily and keep the damaged fan unplugged . My question is , I want to replace the damaged fan or both fans and I wanted to know if there's any difference between the CPU and the GPU fan in this type of Hp Omen models. I found some products on evay with the title : HP OMEN 15-AX204NK Notebook CPU FAN Fan , So can I just order two of these and replace my both CPU and GPU fans with the same type of fan

PS : when disassembling my HP omen I noticied that both fans have the same design and look the same.

@StormSpirite Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting noise from the fan.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
