Right Hinge Broken, Corner of Laptop is cracked and Opening

HP Recommended
HP Notebook - 17-ca0014ds
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My HP Notebook (17-ca0014ds) right hinge is broken and the corner is cracked and bulging. The laptop was not dropped. I noticed this problem last week and it is steadily getting worse. I am still able to open and close it, but I'm afraid that doing so will make it worse. I can hear broken plastic rattling around inside. When opening and closing the laptop, the hinge shifts and separates the upper case from the bottom case. The warranty is expired on this laptop, but that should not matter because this seems to be a manufacturer defect. I have seen other forums where HP customers have the same complaint.

Please help!
