Hi,
Could someone advise me if the WD Green 240Gb Sata SSD can be installed in the CQ60-217TX laptop? The SSD will be running Linux.
I want to upgrade the laptop for my elderly sister and have tried installing a working WD 240Gb in the laptop, but all I get is a "No bootable device found". The ssd does appear in the bias boot options.
If not the WD, any suggestions as to a suitable ssd.
Thanks in advance

The standard drives in this computer are SATA so you should have no problem with a SATA based SSD drive. Crucial states on their upgrade locator that you can install up to a 540Gb SSD
