I was looking at this spec page which must be wrong

https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c06301858

Anyway, yes, it is 2280 form factor. It will give a great boost to performance.

David

Hi,

Your notebook specs say that you already have a 256GB M2 PCIe NVMe SSD in the notebook.

So you can replace it with a higher capacity drive (no limit to capacity). There are many different drives with different speeds and prices.

The best would be the M2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus and one of the cheaper ones is the Crucial M2 P1

Examples:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-Plus-MZ-V7S1T0B/dp/B07MFZY2F2/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=970+evo&qid...

https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-500GB-NAND-NVMe-PCIe/dp/B07J2WBKXF/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=crucial+p1&qid...

On page 47 of the service manual, you can see the steps to replace the drive.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06245081

You will need to reinstall the OS on the new SSD.

Hope it helps,

David

Unfortunately, this is not the case, the HDD 1TB 5400rpm is installed. Here are the specifications for the Russian-language version of the site https://www8.hp.com/ru/ru/laptops/product-details/product-specifications/28087698 And in the English version, nvme ssd https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-db1000-laptop-pc/26210240/model/28087611/document/c063018... I would like to ask, what form factor is used on this laptop, 2280?
