HP 15-bc304
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. Please help me, I can't activate the SSD m2 NVME in HP 15-bc304 laptop. The laptop doesn't see it.
Put in a stationary ASUS computer, everything is visible there.

SSD - samsung 970 evo plus.

Hi:

Chapter 1, page 1 of the service manual indicates the 15-bc3xx model series' M.2 slot only supports SATA SSD's, not NVMe.

Supports M.2 SATA storage

Hello.
But vel connector on the motherboard under the "M key", not under the "B key".
The CRUCIAL manufacturer offers only NVME for the model.

Hi:

The manual indicates that only SATA drives are supported on the BC300 model series.

There are other models in the 15-bcxxx model series that do support NVMe drives, such as the bc400 series (since it supports Optane NVMe memory).

Exchange the NVMe drive for a SATA drive, and you should be all set.

Good night.
And which one is better to buy SSD M2 sata? Samsung, WD, HP, Crucial, Intel?

And which ones are suitable so that I don't send "money to the wind" again.

Hi:

Get one of those Crucial SATA drives listed in that report you posted last week in the storage capacity you want.

One of the last three shown at the bottom of the report with the two notches.
