Hi, I need help. I will need a SSD replacement for my HP Notebook soon. My current one is giving out. What model of SSD is compatible with my HP Notebook? I need a model that's resistant to heat since I play games from time to time.

Hi:

 

The product specs indicate that your notebook comes with a 1 TB SSHD.

 

HP Pavilion - 15-au101nx Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

 

I believe that is a 2.5" form factor because HP normally would indicate if it is a M.2 form factor SSD.

 

You should be able to replace the drive with any 2.5" SATA SSD in a capacity that fits your needs and budget.

 

Look into the Crucial MX500 series, or the Western Digital Blue 2.5" SSD series.
