Good afternoon all,

I wonder if it is possible to upgrade the original SanDisk SD8SNAT-128G-1006 for a faster and bigger Samsung 512GB NVME M.2 2280 SSD ?

 

My Laptop is the HP Pavilion 17" X4M10EA#AB9

Thanks for you answer but I must say you were wrong as I have just installed an Samsung NVME 500Gb SSD on my HP Pavillion 17" X4M10EA#AB9 and all is working fine.

No, machine runs Intel Gen 6 CPU and its old SanDisk SD8SNAT-128G-1006 is SATA therefore you can't use Samsung NVMe SSD, but you can use Samsung M.2 SATA SSD such as 860 EVO series.
