Hp pavilion x360 14 cd0056tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my current SSD of 512GB and was wondering if my laptop has an extra slot for either m.2 or an empty sata slot lying around because my current ssd is an SK Hynix m.2 ssd.(Couldn't find info about this)

Also if there are no empty slots then can you please recommend me a 1TB ssd to replace the old one with.

Thanks

Yes, your machine has  512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now.  Device Manager should tell you its model. You can add 2.5" HDD or SSD to your machine but you need following parts

  • Hard drive foil part # L20549-001
  • Hard drive cable part # L18218-001

Parts with prefix "L" are new and very hard to find

Please  try (I don't know its quality)
