Hello community,
I have an HP Notebook 15-bs021nk, I want to upgrade the Hard disk, so I have two questions:
1)- In the support document it says that this device support for m.2 SATA SSD, but when I opened the device I found an m.2 Nvme SSD port (see pictures), so my question is which type should I choose, and if I put an Nvme does its bandwidth bottlenecked or no?
2)- In the support document it says that this device support for 256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD for dual storage configuration, what if I use 512 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD?
Thanks in advance

Hi:
All M.2 slots in HP desktop and notebook PC's look like they will support a NVMe drive.
Some support SATA only like your notebook, some support NVMe only and some support both.
Your notebook's M.2 slot only supports SATA M.2 SSDs, not NVMe.
100% guarantee a NVMe SSD will not work.
The drive capacities are just what HP offered in the model series not the maximum capacity supported.
A 500 GB or 1 TB M.2 SATA SSD should work fine.
