Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having hp x-360 ba-152tx model laptop. I want to add an SSD to my laptop. There is an M.2 slot in the laptop. Whether I should go for a SATA or PCIe type SSD. Is there any condition that only one type is supported?.

Please reply.

SATA only:

Service Manual

This one is also very hard to service. The M.2 slot is on the backside of the motherboard and you have to remove the motherboard to gain access. See p. 58. Good luck.

There is a 14-ba152tx and a 15-ba152tx. One is Intel and one is AMD. Which do you have? It appears both will only accept SATA M.2 but I want to be 100% sure we are looking at the right service manual

Thanks for your reply.

It's 14-ba152tx powered by the Intel processor.
