I have HP Pavilion x360, purchased on 2017,model number - m3-u00ldx. I was wondering, is there a slot for SSD because now my laptop takes hours to come out, when it gets hang. SSD is the option to again make using the device smooth if slot for SSD is present. Help me folks.

Hi:
Notebooks that have support for M.2 SSD's use a different motherboard than the models with 2.5" drives.
Since your notebook does not have a M.2 slot to add a SATA SSD, you can replace the 500 GB 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
That will perform just as well as a M.2 SATA SSD.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

NVMe drives are not supported in that model series.
You can do a direct swap of the 500 GB mechanical hard drive with this 500 GB model...
You can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...
