Yes. Here is the Service Manual:

 

Manual 

 

There is an M.2 SSD slot behind the smaller service door. It will accept a SATA M.2 SSD 2280 form factor not the faster NVME kind.

Why not nvme?

The motherboard is not designed to work with NVME. The M.2 port is connected only to the SATA bus. It looks just like any other M.2 port, but if you try to use an NVME it will not be recognized.
