hp 15t-dw100

I am looking to upgrade the SSD for my existing laptop: hp 15t-dw100.

Product ID: 7cz23av.

Windows Task manager lists the existing SSD to be

Disk 0 (C:)  LITEON CV8-8E128-HP,  Capacity: 119 GB,  Formatted: 119 GB.

This seems to be a SATA ssd. My questions are about the upgrade options:
1) Can I add a separate SSD (nvme or SATA), please specify what free upgrade slots are available.
2) If only replacement is an option, please specify what type (nvme or SATA or both) is supported.

Hi:

The product number you posted indicates that both SATA and NVMe SSD's are supported in your notebook.

HP PartSurfer

Your notebook only has one M.2 SSD slot, so you will need to replace the M.2 SATA SSD with a M.2 NVMe SSD.

Larger capacity NVMe SSD's are supported.

The M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

Below is the link to user guides page for your notebook, and the maintenance and service guide has the SSD removal and replacement procedure.
