I am planning to upgrade my ssd to this ssd:

 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BN4NJ2J/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=techfindsrevi-20&cr...                  to my Omen15-dc1062nr. Im planning to get the 500 gigabytes but is it compatible with my laptop?

Yes it already has a 128 gig PCIe/NVME M.2 SSD so the Samsung 970 Evo or Evo Plus will work fine. Post back if you need help with installation or software migration.

Thank you so much! I already know how to replace the ssd but how can I migrate the stuff that is already downloaded on the ssd I have right now?

Yes you can "clone" the existing disk to the new SSD. That will require some cloning software. Macrium Reflect Free (google that) is a good choice. Its what I use. Then you will need either an external hard drive (usb) or an external usb to nvme adapter.
