I have a hp au105tx with a screen resolution 1366*768, 2gb nvidia 940mx ddr3 gpu, I was wondering if I could replace my screen with a 1920*1080 resolution or could it increase load on my gpu especially when playing 3D games

@Rogy23 I'm afraid HP neither recommends nor supports changing the screen from one the factory shipped version to another version as it may create other issues with compatibility within other parts of your device, and render the device unusable, that said, you may refer to the service and maintenance guide for details on the parts tested and approved by HP to work on your device: click here to access the file & check page. 59 Component replacement procedures (replace parts at your own discretion)
P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
I hope that answers your query,
