Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1234ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

the accu of my new Pavilion looses about 5% of  charge per day without the notebook being acive (Microsoft Windows Shut-down), although the s-states are turned of in the UEFI/BIOS, and no charging device is connected to it.

I cannot disconnect the accu, because it is mounted inside the device, so I am dependent on an as low as posseible self-discharge.

The pc was twice in service at HP since March in this regard, but unfortunatly nothing changed.

An employee from HP support wanted to make me believe yesterday, that this would be normal, but I cannot believe that because of experiences with other devices.

How much self-discharge is tolarable for this model?

Or, in general?

I heard of self-discharging -rates of 1%  per month for Li-On-accus, and I have also experience with other accu-powered-devices, where the self-discharging is nowhere near that high.

Has anyone an idea, what is happening there?

Thank you for your attention.
