On running HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Tool, I received an error message with "Short Drive Self Test". The failure ID is QAHX3L-839A4G-MFPX6J-60QQ03.
What is meant by this? And how to resolve it?

Hi:
The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable W10 installation flash drive using the Media creation tool at the link below. You will need to have access to another Windows PC for this.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
