Just ran some system tests and the Short Drive Self-Test has failed.

Failure ID is 90FP7T-7AT995-MFGH6K-60WD13

Should i be worried? and what steps do i need to take next?

Hello @Dawoud38,

 

Failure ID 90FP7T-7AT995-MFGH6K-60WD13 translates to Failure Code 303 or Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure. This is a hardware issue requiring a hard drive replacement. A backup of your files is recommended and if you are unable to do so, you can use a USB to SATA adapter.

 

Replacement procedures of the hard drive can be found here.

 

You can replace the drive with any generic 2.5" hard drive but an SSD is ultimately recommended. 

 

You can reinstall the OS using HP Recovery Media, Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, etc. You can then reinstall drivers here.
