@AAYAZ

Hello,

The test found a problem with your hard drive and it may need to be replaced. If possible, back up your personal files to a flash drive or external hard drive as soon as you can.

The following documents are available for reference:

The procedure for replacing the hard disk drive can be found in the HP manual below on pages 53, 54 and 55.

Yes, your computer is compatible with SSD's, please refer to the manual above.

In case of need, do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks V Much,

While fixing a  M.2 solid-state drive into the hard drive bay is it mandatory to have an adapter bracket and
connector board.?

Do you know of other compatible SSD's for This Laptop

Thanks again

Thanks for your return,

Indeed, you need the following two parts to be able to set up an SSD M.2:

  • Solid-state drive board ; Spare part number: 924992-001.
  • Solid-state drive bracket ; Spare part number: 924981-001.

The following SSD M.2 are compatible with your computer:

  • Value SSD:
    • 256 GB ; Spare part number: 865902-017.
    • 128 GB ; Spare part number: 827560-048.
  • TLC SSD:
    • 512 GB ; Spare part number: 763008-017.
    • 256 GB ; Spare part number: 760615-043.
    • 128 GB ; Spare part number: 759848-024.

If the SSD M.2 seems very expensive to you, you to take a 2.5" SATA SSD.

In case of need, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for your return,

You will not be able to make a double configuration of the SSD M.2 and the HDD, because the SSD M.2 takes the place of the HDD.

The HDD you can find it for example below.
