Spectre 700 mouse - Switch functionality from diamond button to press in scroll wheel button instead

Hello.

I just purchased the spectre 700 mouse and I can't work out how to set up the buttons as I'd like.

I'm used to pressing the scroll wheel button in for certain features (links open in new tab in Chrome for example). This functionality seems to be in the small diamond button behind the scroll wheel, which I find uncomfortable to press. Can I assign this function to pressing the scroll wheel instead?

I see that you want to change the functionality of the mouse. I checked the details and I don't see any option to switch the features to another button. However, you may use the link below which is a guide for the mouse: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07001347.pdf
