Static/Sparking Noise HP Envy x360

ENVY x360 - 15-bq100nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I see someone had the same issue, but I don't see any solution yet.

Here's the link to the old thread, which has actually been closed by HP:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Static-Sparking-Noise-HP-Envy-...

Could anybody give me real help on this?

I opened this laptop a dozen times, and there's nothing that makes me figure out how to solve it.

Thanks in advance.

Danilo

Have you tried updating the BIOS already?

If the issue persists after the BIOS update, please contact HP Support for Service Options

It's not anymore covered by warranty from HP, I have to check if the seller might provide it.

And yes, bios is up to date.

I just can't figure out where it exactly comes from, and why this random...

@danello

Even if the warranty expired you can still get it serviced by HP if you wish but there will be charges
