I just got this notebook for Christmas and with the exception of one ded cell on the HP boot screen I really do not have any complaints...except 1. When I touch the computer keyboard area I get a shock and it shuts down immediately. I have been using a rubber glove to try to stop it and it has helped but is still an issue. I am just afraid that one time when it does this it will never turn back on or will not boot correctly. I looked at the archived posts for this issue but they are several years old. Is the resolution still the same? I wanted to make sure I got this addressed as soon as possible.

I would definitely contact HP for warranty service. If you do not have the number in the paperwork open HP Support Assistant on laptop and click tab at top-Support.
