Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm new to the community. I have had a client who has well over 500 HP laptops. During the past 12-16 months we have had about 20 laptops (Spectres and Probooks) experiencing swelling batteries in devices 1 to 2 years old (some newer) which then cause the case to severely separate.  I've seen some of the older posts but wanted to if anyone had any success with HP in replacing the laptops, not just the battery?

Due to this issue my customer will no longer purchase HP and has started buying Dell - over 80 in the past 4 months.

I've had battery swelling on several laptops, HP and others in my office and never has it destroyed the laptop to where it needed to be replaced. Just replace the battery. Your customer is going to find that batteries in Dell laptops may also swell. Good luck.
