Pavilion Dv7-6140sb
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

i bought HP Pavilion Dv7-1640sb like 6 months ago. it has 8 gb rams. intel core i7-2630QM CPU and two graphics card. everything works fine i downloaded all the needed drivers etc... i used it for a bit then i noticed that whenever i try to play a game like csgo or crossfire etc... the fps always below 50 which is impossible. i done some research to find out that whenever i run a game it uses the intel graphics card not the radeon [ i have AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series and intel HD Graphics Family ( Intel 3000HD ) ] i've tried uninstalling all the drivers and reinstalling them again. didn't work. i tried disabling the intel card in device manager and still didn't work for some reason. i'm 100% sure that i have latest drivers. i started searching about how to switch between the cards and found that i need to change it from the BIOS from dynamic to fixed. i didn't have the latest bios so i had to upgrade it. i done it and switched it to fixed. but that did not help i set everything on the ccc to maximum performance but it's still the same whenever i start a game it nevers passes 50 fps infact it gets lower. please help i went in the forum and tried all the related posts but can't manage to do it.

also when i open dxdiag and go to Display it shows the Intel card not the Radeon as you can see here : https://imgur.com/a/eNIWQkU

@DiamondCF

I'd suggest backing-up the data and try re-installing the operating system -

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3) Press F11 once for System Recovery.

4) Choose the Keyboard Layout.

5) Click on Troubleshoot.

6) Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Recovery.

Let me know.
