Hello HP Community,

I am experiencing an issue with the TPM on my HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC (15-fd0000) 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1355U . Although TPM is enabled in the BIOS, it does not appear in Windows. Here are the details:

  • Issue: The Security Devices section is missing in Device Manager, and running tpm.msc shows a message stating, "Compatible TPM cannot be found."
  • Steps Taken So Far:
    1. Verified that TPM is enabled and active in the BIOS.
    2. Checked for the latest Windows updates and drivers using HP Support Assistant.
    3. It is there but i cant update becuse  of tpm 2.0 issue
    4. Attempted to initialize TPM in the TPM Management Console, but it is not recognized.
    5. Confirmed that Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS.

I would appreciate any advice or guidance from the community to resolve this issue. Has anyone faced similar problems with this model or found a solution?

Thank you in advance for your support!

Best regards, ANAS

@ANASW2,

See if this thread will be of help.

Solved: TPM2.0 is activated in Bios but Windows10 does not see it - HP Support Community - 8845492

The setting he is referring to should be the very last one on the Security screen.
