The ethernet port will no longer clip and hold any ethernet cable in. Data transfer is fine. Does anyone know if this is a replaceable part? I have the service manual, but cannot find anything about it. Suggestions? Thank you, Steve

The ethernet port is soldered onto the motherboard. Check carefully inside the port to see if maybe something broke off into the rectangular slot at the bottom where the plastic retainer on an RJ-45 cable clicks into place. You can also see if it has somehow been physically damaged, because it would take that to keep the plastic clip from snapping down into place. Otherwise the only way to fix it is by someone with pretty advanced soldering skills and you would have to maybe find a dead motherboard and harvest and transplant a good port over onto your board. Failing that it would mean replacement of the motherboard.
