@Samiksha3011, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check for Background Processes
Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and close unnecessary apps using high CPU.
Update Drivers & BIOS
Ensure drivers and BIOS are up-to-date from HP’s support site.
Cooling & Airflow
Use the laptop on a flat, hard surface (avoid soft ones like beds).
Consider using a cooling pad for better airflow.
Clean the Vents
Use compressed air to clean dust from vents and fan.
Adjust Power Settings
Set to Balanced power plan in Control Panel > Power Options.
Run Diagnostics
Press Esc > F2 at boot to check for hardware issues.
System Updates
Make sure Windows is up-to-date.
