Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (599K1AV)

Hello there!

I recently decided to replace thermal paste in my laptop (HP Victus 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000), I found it has two types the normal thermal paste on gpu and cpu and another type looks and feels viscose but it is neither thermal pads nor paste i think it is putty but not sure about it, can I replace it with thermal paste or not,

if not then what is its measurement and how much should I put from it

It is thermal putty and it is not meant to be reused.

You can use a high performance thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly or Arctic MX-6 instead of the thermal putty.

The manufacturers normally provide details in the use of thermal paste in videos on YouTube or their manufacturer website.
