Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My touchpad has suddenly stopped working. The orange light is not visible on my touchpad, because in Windows Settings, it says Touchpad Enabled

here's the service manual for it:

 

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05557898  go to page 55 and try reseating the cables to see if it helps. If not, you'll prbably need to replace the touchpad.
