Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an 15-ac158nr laptop. During covid while I was working from home, I had to connect my laptop to an LG monitor which had both vga and hdmi. Because the laptop is too old or hdmi my IT person at work gave me a cable to connect the laptop to the monitor. I remember one end of the cable fit into the SD reader because I had to angle it in just right on the right side of the laptop and the other I believe was a vga connector which I attached to the back of the monitor. Does anyone know what kind of cable I am describing that was connected? If not, what cable do I need to connect the laptop to the monitor? Thank you.

HP does NOT supply its specs

From the following information it has 1 HDMI port. You can simply use HDMI cable (millions of them around) to connect DIRECT to HDMI port on your monitor.  For example

My eyesight is not very good up close with small characters. Which slot is the HDMI slot on this notebook? Thank you.
