I have an 15-ac158nr laptop. During covid while I was working from home, I had to connect my laptop to an LG monitor which had both vga and hdmi. Because the laptop is too old or hdmi my IT person at work gave me a cable to connect the laptop to the monitor. I remember one end of the cable fit into the SD reader because I had to angle it in just right on the right side of the laptop and the other I believe was a vga connector which I attached to the back of the monitor. Does anyone know what kind of cable I am describing that was connected? If not, what cable do I need to connect the laptop to the monitor? Thank you.
