Hi,
I have a big problem concerning my laptop charging capabilities. I've recently lost my native usb-c charger.
So I bought this ugreen charger to be able to charge my laptop, plus my phone, with some "future proofing" as well.
I've tested the charger, and it works well on all my other devices.
I've tested the cable, and it works well.
-> I can charge the laptop using the USB A (port of the charger) to USB C cable, but it's really slow (~15W).
-> I can charge the laptop using an USB C to USB C cable from my tower, but again it's slow (~20W ?)
-> I can't charge the laptop when using the USB C port of the charger, which are capable of 65W and higher. The indicator does not light up.
This is quite a frustrating experience, as there are nothing on the product page suggesting its disability to charge from a normal usb c charger.
Any way to change this behaviour?

From your description of the charging issue, it would seem that the 3rd party device you bought has issues.
You should be able to purchase a replacement power adapter.
It is available on Amazon.fr
From the Maintenance & Service guide for your laptop

I've tested it on a macbook pro and the usb c ports are working correctly. I've also tested phones with and without fast charging, and all are working.
I bought this charger because it was on sale, and cheaper than the hp one. Plus it's much more flexible, with 3 ports instead of one.
I seriously don't understand why I should buy the hp one, when cheaper, easier, and greener alternatives exist.
What I would like to know is whether it is normal to have no charge when using a third party charger.

Every USB-C device have different requirements. It's not only the wattage the charger puts out, but also the voltage. The link to your charger doesn't list which voltages are supported. I believe your laptop needs a 20V 3.25A from the charger.

I found this in a review, and it matches what is written on the box.
"As for the advertised output for the first USB-C port, it’s 5V/3A, 9V,/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A and 28V/5A. For the secondary USB-C, it’s 5V/3A, 9V,/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/5A, while for the USB-A port, it’s 5V/3A, 4.5V/5A, 5V/3A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A."
So I guess it should be able to charge.
What is strange is that the charge indicator light does not come on at all, which shows that there is no current flowing. This is strange because when I plug my laptop into a weaker source (20W), it still charges slowly and with the indicator light on.
I would have assumed that the laptop would charge, even if it's at low speed.

I have the same issue. Some tutorials suggested that my BIOS is too old, and to update to one newer than 2019, but my BIOS is from 2021.
Others have said to "reset the battery," which involves holding the power button for 15-20 seconds, and releasing the power button will make the caps-lock light appear for a couple seconds
I've had the same issues in Windows, too. I am using the 65W charger which does not support the PD3.0 standard, but all my other devices charge from it happily.
I have replaced the battery, but it did not work on the previous official HP battery either.
